what was ur fondest memory real or race of this great man,,,it hard to believe 6 years,,, and to the date,,

Well when he slid down the track on his top{upside down}
I believe at taladaga,he was sitting on the back of the ambulance,they turned over his car,and the guy started it,he looked up,grabbed his helmet,got back in the car and took off in that crashed up car.After that I referred to him as Mr.Big Balls.I miss him.

Fondest memory of him was that he would say what he meant and meant what he said. Indirectly the fondest memory of anything regarding him was when Jr. won Daytona the next year. I was there and would not have taken nothing in the world not to have been,,,,it was great.

It would have been really nice to see Dale, Jr. get the win in the Daytona 500...but the next best thing happenned...Kevin Harvick won...and officially, he is the one who took over Earnhardt's car as driver...I am surprised the media didn't pick up on that as a story...

Childress decided to retire the black #3 though...because there is only one Intimidator..
