I think Sanaa Lyric (as the middle name) has a good ring to it.

There might be some hard feelings if you go ahead and name the baby something else. If you aren't going with Sanaa then you should probably tell him before the baby is named.

He probably is feeling left out and guilty about not being there for the birth already and to find out that he didn't get to help in the naming process might really be upsetting to him.

Can you come to an agreement together? This is a name that you both are going to have to live with for a long time so it should really be a compromise.

I believe that these are names for a baby girl but I am not positive. For a boy maybe you would like Silas.

To get you started for a girl maybe you could discuss:
* Laiken
* Sienna
* Aspen
* Asia
* Tatum
* Celeste

Good Luck! SD

I don't like the two "a's" in Sanaa. I knew a girl named Lyric who was stripper and had a baby as a teenager. I guess I don't have a good association with that name.

if sanaa is pronounced the way it looks then you both need to know your daughter is neither a type of hot tub or the words to a song. if I had to pick between them I would go with sanaa by far! please dont name your daughter lyric...and yes...even though he isnt there, he still should have some say in the baby's name.

Make it Lyric Sanaa, since people will find Lyric a little easier to pronounce.

I really love the name Lyric! Won't you be able to speak with him before the birth? Chat it over with him.... I wouldn't switch things up withouth telling him first. I'm sure you two can come to an agreement. I can't figure out the pronunciation on Sanaa. Best of luck to you and Congratulations!!!!!

everything aside, you both should choose the name since you made this child! How about Sanaa Lyric?

You have plenty of time before the baby is born to talk it out between the two of you. If it continues to be a problem however you can use both names one as a first name and one as a middle name.

Good luck with your pregnacy.

Just because he's not right there, you shouldn't pull a fast one like that. There's plenty of time to agree on a name.

How is Sanaa pronounced? I'm just curious.
