The Phantom Mess was worst. Attack of the Clowns improved a little bit.

Revenge of the Sith was only new one that was almost good enough to be called a Star Wars movie...

Episode 3 was the worst, but Episode II had a lot of stupid stuff in it.

Yoda could have stopped Duku by slamming that metal pole into the engines of the ship. Anikin's little monologe about killing the Tuskin Raiders was painful to hear. How did Jango Fett's head stay in the helmet when Bobba picked it up?!?

Granted that the story had to be told in all six parts, but you have to admit that there was something lacking in Episodes 1-3 and it was the cohesion of the story that the original movies have. The question to really ask of "true Star Wars fans" is their opinions on what Lucas did to Episodes IV-VI. Was he justified to change things the way he did? Did it improve the stories (including putting Hayden in the ending of "Return Of The Jedi")?

To ask such a question allows other people to know that you are not a true Star Wars fan. The Star Wars Saga needs all 6 movies in order to explain the story and significance behind every character. To me all of the episodes were awesome and not boring or bad. The older episodes were way advanced for their time and they started a phenomenon, sorry to see you can not appreciate it.

A good argument could be made for either one, but I'd say episode 2 was worse.

In episode 1, the writing was terrible and the acting was worse, but at least it had Liam Neeson and Darth Maul. We had to endure Jar Jar Binks, though.

Episode 1 was the worst.
Then again, I find the whole series to be boring, and do not understand why people worship it.

Episodes I through VI were all equally horrible. George Lucas is not a visionary.
