I will definitely buy the "all natural" baby cleaning products for my baby. I have sensitive skin, so I know what all those perfumes, etc can do to a person like me. I buy all natural cleaning soaps/shampoos for my dog, my husband and myself... and for my baby too (who's living in the tummy right now :-)

I have a trial package of the California Baby shampoo, which I'm looking forward to trying out. I probably will stick with some store brand, though, because the Calif Baby stuff is outragiously expensive!

Yeh, I'm big on natural products!

When you buy 'earth friendly' products, make sure it's from a company that many other people can easily buy from also (which means it's relatively cheap and easy to get from stores such as Wal-Mart and such). This way, you are supporting a company that has impact on what people buy. Expensive products are not available to all people because they can't afford them. Thus, they might just take the cheaper route and by products with artificial ingredients that could harm the earth once disposed of. Earth Friendly products (whether they are baby products or not), are better for the environment. When you wash with a product that has biodegradable substances, the water that goes to the sewage treatment plants will be more readily cleaned of contaminates (because the substance will degrade) and wouldn't have a chance to get back into the water system. Products with artificial ingredients sometimes will not readily degrade, and certain chemicals may re-enter the water system (such as with using antibiotic soap- the antibiotic agents do not degrade, and can have a negative effect by causing bacteria to become resistant to it while it circulates in the sewage system). Just buy what you need, and no more. Don't spend two hundred bucks on a deluxe kit full of EcoFriendly products- instead, just do some research and buy the least expensive product that suits you and has the most benefit to the ecosystem.
