hi i am a professional make up artist and i will try my best to help you. You didn't say what color dress you will be wearing or anything. But to be honest the black smokey eye thing is a Little bit out dated. try the same thing but use dark purples and hues of lavender well blended. plus apply eyeliner(plum is a really nice color with blue eyes)on the outside of bottom lashes not inside as this can make your eyes look smaller and make you look old and tired. other wise go for icy white reflective colors. think pinks, blues purples and even some aqua green colors. i recommend these products by j'adore. good luck with your dance and remember most importantly of all...It's what on the inside that counts, but looking hot helps too! :)

ok you didn't mention how old you where or what style or colour of dress you are wearing.

Black eyeliner is way too harsh if you want to go for a softer smokey eyed look try a steely/slate colour its a lot softer than black, DONT apply it to the inside lower lashes it's out dated and can make your eyes look realy small.
Dont go for browns unless they are bronze/shimmery, you have to be very carefull what browns you use because they can make you look very tired and aged.
What suits blue eyes?
Eyeliner: Bronzes/slate grey
Eye colour: Rich, warm browns/blue together, taups, pink & plum tones.
Intensifies blue eyes & makes them apperar clearer and brighter.

Hope that answers a couple of your questions?

I suggesst a Bonnebell sparkling Black eyeliner. (it's not to much as you said!:)) (Focus on the outside of the underneath of your eye,it will bring out the color of your deep blue eyes.)

And the Bonnebell shades of sparkling pink eyeshadow.(tip: Put dark shades of pink on your eyelid and the light shades on the top of you eye.)

As for gloss, once again Bonnebell is the best! Try Liquid-Gloss

Prices: Eyeliner:$4.50
Shadow:$4.00
Gloss:$5.99

Enjoy,hope I helped,and have fun!!

Cheersweetie~!~

I think that you shouldn't put on a lot of make-up, so just put a bit of blush, lip gloss, and some eye shadow. That's what I do, and a lot of guys go for me.

Trust me. A lot of guys don't like girls who try to hard to look all flashy.
And besides, make-up hides your TRUE beauty.
