bellydance, its a very sensual dance that engages the audience and cajoles them to move with the rhythm as well as the dancer. bellydance appeals to all senses of a human because it brings them all into harmony focussing on simple and elegant yet complex movements of the body. Undulations of the stomach are to some people a turn on. it's amazing how much muscle coordination goes into moving your stomach in such a sensual way. it's a dance of seduction and thrilll and to an extent sex. who wouldn't want that. a bellydancer uses the body to convey emotions of desire and lewdity and passion to the audience and that's what attracts both the performer and crowd to each other.

Clogging
It's a mixture of tap and an irish step dance. It's amazing. A lot of it is done to country but I've done stuff to almost every type of music. Plus, it's a great workout
I also love lyrical/modern. It's great to express yourself. I've always loved ballet, but last year I discovered modern and fell in love. You can be anything and just express yourself outside the norms and box. There are so many ways of expressing yourself through dance, it's hard to pick a favorite...

Is it okey to say that I love mostly all of the ones mentioned above mixed together in a dance? Probably my most favorite dance movies that have shaped my opinion are "Shall We Dance" and "Take the Lead"...ahhh..love those movies.

The Varsouvianne. It's a very elegant 19th century dance. You can see it performed in the John Wayne movie, Fort Apache.

Well I'm in a Ballroom class and I'd have to say that its a tie between Samba, Triple Swing, and the Cha Cha.

Hands down ... west coast swing!!! Salsa, jive, balboa, Lindy and silver foxtrot are all cool too but WCS is the bomb!

Jazz and Belly dancing...both are fun and sexy...but Latin is my favorite favorite...i sort of have 3 favorites

my favorite type of dance is hip-hop!
its bril aii :) iv always lykd da type but der wz near anywhere that dunit bt nw im in a hip-hop(street) team :D
