no, it is not wrong.. however, you should help as well to an extent. there is nothing wrong with you helping. if you are w/ someone then you will also find that it is bonding time for you. my husband helps me cook, do dishes and that is our time to bond. make it fun. mix it up and be respectful about it. don't be all like well, that's womans work, you know, male chaventist crap.

Nothing is wrong with this situation as long as both parties are comfortable with it. I, for one, really think this is the ideal relationship for me. Some women, I suppose, would rather do yard work, fixing cars, making repairs around the house, doing the heavy work instead of cooking and cleaning. Let them go for it. It takes a lot to keep up a household and these things need to be shared.

Most women and men today are working and yet the household responsibilities remain. No man or woman should be expected to do it all.

Reality check; first off not all men are like you. Let's be real for a decade or a century.

Now, your lady cooking and cleaning (for you) is a matter of choice. If that is something that you require from your lady then that's you.

Over the years, women have finally gotten fed up enough to say that being taken for granted isn't on their list of lifelong goals.

As long as you and your lady are happy with that situation what does it matter what the rest of us think?

As long as the two of you are happy then that's all that counts.

things are changing, times and expectations are changing....it is very traditional to teach your children 'typical' roles. The woman is the caretaker...she takes care of children, home, husband. She nurtures, feeds, etc....while the man takes care of more 'manly' items like gardening, car maintenance, garbage, home repairs etc. Nothing wrong with tradition. However, many couples aren't traditional, and they do what works for them. I believe if you are 'with' someone and you are the more traditional type, then it would be better if your mate is traditional as well....

Hell 2 the naw! Your lady should want to cook & clean for her man. If she doesn't, she probably doesn't cook & clean for herself. If she does, she's selfish. I cook, clean & do laundry for both myself & my lady, when I have one. If she can't do the same, get her gone.

If he is my legal husband I would do my legal duty of house chore for him. If he is my boy friend playing house,we split the house chore and big time the expenses. We are absolutely roommate with sweet benefits to each other.

Depends on how he treats you and if you enjoy "taking care" of him. If he appreciates you, go for it!
