That would not accomplish anything.
If you offered 20k Republican supporters, I am sure the insurgents might accept that as a peace offering.

My son was well in to the US Naval Academy application process when he asked if I'd be upset or disappointed if he enlisted after high school. As a liberal father, I was proud that my liberal warrior son wanted to answer the call to serve his country with the skill, determination, and patriotism he possesses.
The war in Iraq will not stamp out intolerance and hatred of the West, nor make America safe. It will will continue to serve as a global recruiting call for terrorists until we find a way to fix what we have broken. The war was misguided and now out of control.
The suggestion of sending people to Iraq to be rid of them for demanding changes to a long-failed policy demeans the sacrifice of our young Americans, and is akin to the thinking that got us in this mess in the first place.
To answer your question - until our leadership is prepared to apply more than stubborn arrogance to the task, yes, my son and 19,999 other young liberals like him are willing to hold the line as best they can for all of America.

Not all liberals, just the ones who lean far left, remember we have to have a check and balance for democracy to work.
However, if it must be so... Jane Fonda would be a great candidate to lead the Peace Offering Organizational Plan (POOP) and Susan Sarandon could be her assistant.

Well... Maybe we should send you and not these kids who do not know what they are really getting there selves into.. You are an ignorant person. Everyone has their right to feel the way they feel so why should you make a comment like that. I have lost many friends in this war and making a comment like that really pisses me off. I think everyone makes a choice in life.. They have their beliefs and we have ours..

Considering the Military is primarily made up of Middle-Class and poor folks which are basically under the income level to be benefitting from Republican legislation---it's time to step down off the soap box.
Your preaching an oxymoron.

How about sending in all of the conservitives ho like the war to fight it? that would also eliminate any troop level problems. Then we can let Bush cut VA funding like he's suggested.
Can We? Huh? Can we please?
