for a school dance, I have to dress up like a movie character. Preferable a 16 or so yearold girl character which I could have fun with the costume, but I could get most of the articles of clothing for cheep, without any masks. Thanks !

Wasn't Juliet from Romeo and Juliet only about 16 yrs old. Get a Madam Pompodour hair do and second hand bridesmaid's dress from a charity store. Have fun.

How about "Buffy, The Vampire Slayer"? That was a great movie and it should be a fairly easy costume. You just need a blonde wig and a wooden stake.

Sandy from "Grease" would be cute. The outfit she wore at the end of the movie with the red shoes, black tight pants and off the shoulder shirt. It would be even better if you were going with a date and he could be Danny.
