You cant judge a genre of music by a few songs. Some rap is really thought provoking but its not what sells for most artist so you dont hear it and as far as pop-punk I only like Pink, I think she is pop-punk anyway but that doesnt mean the rest of it is bad.
If you dont like it dont buy it. You dont have to bash other people's music.

I dislike the song and tv in the present day, you're precisely suitable, it is all rap song and certainty exhibits (in the u . s . a .). So I pay attention to my CD's and watch HBO and Showtime often. videos are ok, there are some incredibly fesh and unique video clips that make up for the crap run-of-the-mill. For the main area I follow analyzing books, there are alot of super authors in the present day.

Both suck and yes it is possible. Even though I don't like rap, at least rappers' voices sound like men as opposed to prepubescent boys. But rap still sucks too!

NO! pop-punk rules. and amen to the first answer. ok: pop-punk has a meaning more than just 'money in the bank', sexing up somebody, and smacking that. its about relationships, love, and deep feelings that other genres of music dont have.

unfortunately it has. it's a travesty, the amount of whiny, tight-pants, dyeblack hair boys running around trying to "screw the system" or whatever they're trying to prove with their elaborately disappointing song titles and supposedly "meaningful" ( = confusing) band names. at least rap has a focus and a purpose, and is catchy (for the most part). at least rappers are singing about what they like, not trying to make some kind of bizarre, annoyingly yodely statement in top hats and magician's outfits.
