It doesnt really soak into my skin kinda.

Not that i want it to or anything, but it doesnt really do alot, it just sits there and if i touch it, say i get an itch or something, it comes off and looks weird.

I dont like to apply my makeup with my fingers. Is there something wrong my sponge? Its not old its brand new. I really dont like it i feel like i have to be sooo careful, and i just want to like... be normal.

its not the sponge its the foundation. i love revlon colorstay it does no budge!...but sponges are ****...they soak up to much foundation dont blend it well enough so you look cakey and gross and are full of bacteria...try a brush i love MACs 187 brush.

Use latex free sponges only! Latex can be irritating. I was told it is better to blend with clean fingers but I like sponges myself as well. The sponge does seem to absorb most of the make-up though and I use expensive foundation, so I waste a lot.

Sponges tend to absorb the makeup...I hate them. I use mineral makeup...you apply it with a brush and it doesnt look like you are wearing makeup at all. Try it, Bare Minerals is the best but there are companies like Revlon that are making it now too.

Sponges of any type absorb your make-up and you use up your bottle faster.

Try a make-up brush instead. You can just paint it on. They look like this: http://www.ulta.com/control/product/~product_id=2079327
These work great and your bottle of foundation will last lots longer.
If your make-up still comes off easily you need to switch brands because whatever you are using doesn't go well with you. There are lots of brands out there to try. My fave and what I use it Exuviance. It is WONDERFUL and treats your skin whilst you wear it.

Apply lotion to your face before applying make-up. It will look & feel better.

Use a foundation brush. http://www.maccosmetics.com/templates/products/sp.tmpl?CATEGORY_ID=CATEGORY15084&PRODUCT_ID=PROD1414 like this one. But of course they sell them like everywhere and for a lot cheaper than MAC's.
