i had a buyer accept my buy now price. and i haven't heard from him? can't we stop them from bidding again and how do people get on ebay by not being registered? a man bid on my computer and then he wanted me to pay the shipping 70lbs. yeah rite, so ebay told me not to talk with him and i emaile(them) the pages to them a spoof. iv'e never head back about him. plus he was not registered on ebay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!he wanted me tro ship to nigeria.we don/t ship there.beware!

this is a very common scam.
you were hit by a NIgerian BIN BANDIT,
they bid and hope they can bulls*** you into believing you have been paid by sending you a fake PAYPAL email saying that your paypal account has been paid.
NEVER CLICK A LINK IN AN EMAIL!
then you ship.
your paypal account never gets the money and you are out the computer and the cash.
from now on make your BINS PAYPAL ACCOUNT REQUIRED, with IMMEDIATE PAYMENT.
if anything EVER says NIGERIA, RUN!
and report all IDs that try this on you!

Simply add a disclaimer to all your ads that spell out payment terms.
Mine say's "Paypal Payments only". All payments must be made 5 days from sale or item will be re-listed.
I've sold about 300 items and only one person has never paid.

Yeah, i would definitely alert ebay, if you haven't already. I'm sorry to hear about that though, sounds like someone tried to rip you off.

Could be he could not get set-up properly.Could have been blocked out or something.Just a thought.and if pay-pal were involved,this could have snagged his follow-up intentions,also.
