if you read the official website, it says to put the ring in after the 7 days even if you still have your period, so your answer did nothing for me...thanks, though...

I wouldn't. Your vagina's not a purse. lol. j/k. Seriously though, just use a panty liner if your just having that spotting that comes at the end of your period.

from personal experience i know that you are not even supposed to have it in while on our period. you are supposed to take the ring out as soon as our period starts, that is your 7days break from the bc. So if that doesn't answer your question. NO you should not have the ring in while on your period, and yes take it out before you use a tampon....good luck

you're supposed to take the nuva ring out the week of your period. then you have your period, and put in a new ring at the end.
