by in the hallway when he is with his group of friends. When I am walking by they all turn to stare at me and than as I am passing by he says "I went out with her. She is my ex". They all check me out and stare. He is the captain of the football team. He has a girlfriend and has been with the same girl for 1 1/2 years now. We broke up two years ago. He still checks me out, still looks, still stares, he started saying hi and stuff too. what is the deal, please enlighten me, someone please!?

Two reasons - he wants you back and you are, face it, major bragging rights. makes the other guys jealous because he supposedly got to "hit dat" and none of the rest of them have.

You know what the deal is. He would love to have his cake and eat it too. He says that because he must like the way you are, he wants them to know he had you and he is probably thinking he'd like to have you again, it's been 1 and a half yrs. with her. He is ready to roam again. Is that what happened with you two? I'd steer clear and let him deal with her first and not get in the middle. If you are thinking about him again just remember how he is acting with you while he is with her. That's not good. They should move on first. Not have someone waiting when it happens. That's what I'm talking about.
