make the solution equal to zero. Then divide 6 form both sidesit will the make it
x^4+4x^2-12x=0
then get rid of the x
x^3+4x-12=0
that makes it easier to factor

yea i think rustik is right...

you know that all the coefficients have a greatest common factor of 6 (they are all divisible by 6). you also know that there's at least one x in each part of the equation. so you factor out 6x and you get the answer rustik gave you.
