Okay, I'm fourteen and I want to model more than anything in the world for the past 6 months and i recently brought it up with my parents. They said I couldn't do it, but I figure if I combine my six months of research and advice from people who answer, they'll change their minds. It's not like I want to do it for the rest of my life, maybe for a few years, just to gain experience and explore my options a little.

just ask your parents to go to a modeling agency and see what they think about you and if you would be able to model. tell your parents you just want to know if your good enough and once the agency tells you what they think it can help get you started or help you decide to never do it

just tell them that you just want 2 try it & while your still young theres no reason why you shouldnt save up a few bucks 4 college but the price of training which is $2000 is where i got stuck!

Your biggest obstacle and/or your biggest asset is your genes—you've pretty much either got it or you don't. If you've got it, then it's still a lot of hard work. Here's some links to read up on:

My sister is absolutely gorgeous, but has always been turned down because she's not tall enough. She's 5'4".
