My adivce, get some good snapshots of yourself, you'll need a clear one of your face straight on, your left and right side profiles, and a full body shot. Then shoot with a good phtographer to have some professional photos to get a portfolio together.
Take your portfolio to a REPUTABLE agency who isnt trying to scam you (here's a hint: if they ask you for ANY money, they are scamming you)
Some good agencies to try are: Ford, Wilhelmina, Next, Click, and Elite.
Stay away from most modeling websites or agencies promising youll be a star.
Good luck!

It all depends on where you live. Some other major cities (besides NYC and LA) have reputable agencies who are always looking for new talent. DO NOT sign with an agency that doubles as a modeling "school". Examples are Barbazon and John Casablanca. They will sign anyone because they can make money from you taking their classes.
Send good clear snapshots to reputable agencies in your area. If they are interested, they will contact you. Any good agency has a website and will post their instructions for submitting photos. The ONLY thing you (or your parents) should ever pay for is possibly some good photos to put together a comp card (which is what your agency will send out to potential clients).
Another suggestion is to see if there's a John Robert Powers school in your area. They are NOT a modeling agency. They are solely a school where you can take acting/modeling classes. The one where we live lets agencies come and audition the kids to possibly sign them. It's not cheap, so you'd have to really convince your parents that you want to do this. Or work to save money yourself to pay for it.
Start with sending snapshots to agencies, and go from there. If you get a call back you can tell your parents and maybe they'll have a change or heart seeing that an agency is showing interest.
Good luck!

First off, you need WAY more expieriance than six months. I researched acting for three years before I starred in my first movie, and yea, Jilly Rae Parker ISN'T my name, not my stage name! FIRST, you need headshots from an AGENCY. Your career starts with small, simple events like a local fashion show. Then take it from their. But remember, its all YOU. No one on the streets will come up to you and be like "Ooh! Your pretty! Wanna model at Suchandsuch? Sign right here, then jump on the catwalk!" Good luck!

Wait until you graduate from high school. Period. If you don't have that education & the modeling thing doesn't pan out, you have NOTHING. Graduate first. Six months is really not a long enough time to research a life-changing career.

start out how i did do little shows in your mall or local stores then work your way up from there. a good time to start is near spring break when all the new cloths come out. or near summer when all the cool summer stuff comes out. but the best time is before school starts when all the stores want to show possible outfits. places may advertise when they need models. if you dont ask if they do shows and if they do ask when
good luck!

hey, that sounds just like me when i was 14. we tried a bunch of modeling places but theyre all scams. and as soon as you get into high school you will not have time to even think about modeling..unless you already are in high school but yeah..i didnt want to do it as a career i just wanted to have some fun but it wastes more time and money because modeling can't really be a hobby, it ends up taking too much time.

Get waxed professionally a minimum of two days until eventually now the shoot. professionals have extra advantageous product and technique and having it accomplished a pair days until eventually now provides your pores and skin time to quiet down. in case you won't be in a position to arise with the money for an salon or spa, seem for a cosmetician college on your area, they often do artwork for much less to income adventure.

Not worth it. A model's career is over at 25 anyway, and then you'll be really sorry you didn't finish your education. Because really, your life is just starting at 25. You sound smart - you don't have to rely on your body to make money; it won't last forever. Get an education instead.
