Great answers already. Also, you can go to your states website there is usually a link to the court system and an Frequently Asked Questions section. It will also tell you the closest courthouse to you so you can go get the papers yourself. It usually only costs about $25 for the paperwork and then when its completed, $50-100 to file it and serve the other party.

Your local library would also have info on how to file in your state.

you need to know what the laws are in your state that pertain to alimony and child support. you may qualify for a public lawyer that works with people that can not afford a lawyer. call your local county office and check on your options someone there should be able to help you.

get on your p/c get the free paper work you need. then file with little money . like 50.00 to 80.00

your local courthouse should have a packet you can pick up for like $3.00. you fill it out nad turn it back into them.
