Statement#1--Oil on the plains; copper, diamonds and other minerals in the interior. I don't think I could claim the most valuable resources are on the coasts. Read the textbook to be certain.

Statement #2--This is generally true from what I have gathered.

Statement #3--Absolutely false. In fact, it is exactly the opposite.

The first statement is false, the 2nd is true, the third is false. A good Atlas showing global resources would help you eg Times World Atlas.

I agree with Spister.. The middle question is true. The other 2 are false.

statemet one - WRONG.
statement two - yes, africa has many resources but you find many in a certain place
statement three - wrong. africa has many diamond and other gem mines, in fact, the second largest diamond in the world was mined in africa (just that the british took it when they came)
