he did what he had to do what coaches do make decisions on injured players and yao couldn't play so yea it was right

I think it was a good choice for him to do that so they can have some height(they had KG, TD, and Dirk all 7"). Mike could have started Amare instead but he probably didnt want to have no controversy with other players because they would probably think hes starting him because he is his head coach for the Suns. It was also a good thing because when Amare came off the bench he played with alot of electricity, and he was not nervous.

Yao was hurt and Dirk was not. Just that simple.

y not yao was hurt. he couldnt play so he chose dirk because he thought he was the next best player.

Because on NBATV he was talking to Dirk by themselves and he said since that he had experience with Nash that he thinks he can shoot those threes and pass like Nash that could happen and i have been watching west do behind the back passes like Steve Nash! =)
