That's why Tyrus commented he gets 16K regardless and got fined 10K for it.
So he only made $6,125
The winners get paid for the all star game and so do the losers. Some give it to their charies and some use it for themsleves as it is their money and some are still on rookie contracts.
They get paid to play in the NBA and this is another game and they are taking a pay cut to be here for the game.

Normally , I would've said UNC, but at this point, I'm not sure if they really want it. Right now, I'll say Florida, but there are several teams that could make a strong claim to the title.
