the people @ my school are jerks ad i am REALLY nervous but all of my friends say i have an incredible voice but idk wat people @ my school will think about it...any tips???

if you know you have an incredible voice, then who cares what other people think? And if those jerks say anything just tell them "at least i had the courage to go up there"

sing in front of your best friends until you feel comfortable singing in front of them, because i'm sure they will all compliment you a lot, which will make you feel good about yourself and you will have those compliments in your head when you have to sing in front of everybody! and keep in mind too that the hardest time is the first time, because after that first time i'm sure everyone will love your voice so much that they'll all be complimenting you, so every time after that will get easier b/c you'll start to really believe that you're good.

What helps me with that type of stage fright is to pretend that I'm already a famous awesome star and then strut your stuff like you have total control of the audience. In other words, fake it til you feel it. Works every time. Never let them see you sweat.lol.

Just do what will make you the happiest. If you love to sing, then sing! And don't listen to what people at school try to tell you. They're just jealous because you've got talent.
