My sister was very stressed during her pregnancy. She was also sick the whole time and could hardly eat. She carried her baby full term, however he was only 4lbs 15 oz when he was born. He didn't have any problems he is a very healthy baby. The Dr said he was so small because she was so stressed.
My mom also had a very stressed pregnancy about 12 yrs ago.
and she lost the baby at 5 months. Its just best to try to stay stress free during a pregnancy.

It takes a lot of stress to harm the baby. 90 percent of the stress hormones that pass through the placenta are deactivated by your body, making them harmless to your baby. So unless you are super stressed out, in which case you should be taking with you OBGYN your fine. Being pregnant is a stressful time, many people stress lots. Good luck with your pregnancy!! :)

Nothing happens. I was really stressed out when I was pregnant and my doctor said that as long as the stress doesn't cause you to not eat and or sleep then your absolutely fine :)

It stresses them which can stunt growth or just cause them to not develop properly. Depends on what kind of stress. If your heart beat is messed up theirs is WAY messed up, for example. Not good on a little ity bity heart. I just spent 2 - 3 weeks being stressed out of my mind, baby was kicking like he was an olympic gymnasts.

It could, but I think it can put the baby in stress like a higher heart beat and so on.

mis carry, early delivery, low birth weight, complications, effects coarse of development. these things are caused by hormonal changes, hypertension, tachycardia. As for the cord itself, don't know, but these thing happen through the cord.

if you want a calm serene baby keep your stresses down. it is important for the child to hear regular heart beats, tender touches and talking to the baby during pregnancy. and it does the mother no good during delivery..
