Hi,
I have been a single mom for 8 years now. My 3 kids' are ages 19 (will be 20 in May) 17 (Will be 18 in April) and my youngest just turned 14 in January.
The only 2 kids that still live at home with me are my 17 and 14 year olds.
My 17 year old will be leaving for College at the end of this summer and I'm looking forward to only having one child at home with me...only because being a single mom is so hard and I really need a break!
Anyway, I'm looking forward to the future when my youngest child will Graduate High School and be off to college.
When I am finally done raising my children, I plan to do so many things with my life!!
I plan to go on a long overdue vacation somewhere, since I could never do that before.
I plan to go on road trip to see some sites that I haven't see yet and stay in a nice hotel with room service.
I plan to be at home a little more since I work so much and I can't be home as much as I would like to be right now.
I plan to pamper myself and just take some time to do whatever I want to do.
I plan to do little things like sit around the house in my pajama's. (I work so much that I can't sit in my pajama's right now)
I plan to visit my kids' at their College and enjoy the fact that I am spending some quality time with them while I'm watching them make something of their lives!!
Anyway, I plan to do alot more things but u you get the idea.
I really hope that you enjoy your own life now that your kids are in college and you can do whatever you want to.
Good luck to you!

while you're searching for some thing to fill a while and to supply you a feeling of contribution to infants back, i could advise looking into volunteer opportunities. you are able to help out at your community YMCA's daycare, or probable the nursery on the well being midsection (rocking new infants, etc.). you additionally can proceed to concentration further time on your college age young infants - putting at the same time care programs and notes to mail them. honestly everyone likes to get some thing in the mail. At that age, love and help from mom and a feeling of "homestead" is often favored - no remember if or not they admit it or not. :) perfect of luck.

My parents are married, but when i left for school my mother started studying to become a nursing assistant. I think she is happy being around people and not just sitting around the house.
By the way, that was back in 1989, and moms has been working ever since.
