Multiple people have told me that guys can't be "just friends" with girls. Is that true?

Absolutely true.
Even if they accept the "friend" tag and stick around, they are still hoping & planning to get into your pants.

i used to be a strong believer that guys could be girls friends and that its just a stereotype that says they cant. but it seems every guuy "friend" ive had has eventually come out and said they had feelings for me and wanted more. no matter how much you think they just want your friendship, i think guys cant help falling in love.

a guy can have friends that are girls too, its not impossible but usually guys will mistake getting along with someone to love :P

no... i have several that are just friends... for sure for sure... no romantic feelings either way.
