like a million times, I'm good with remembering faces not names. it sucks.

Unfortunetly, this happens to me all the time. I'm much better with faces than names, but the funny thing is most people don't even notice that u don't know their name!!! Instead of " hey you", try " hey bud", or pal, or sister, or sport, u get the idea!! Good question!!!

I find it more effective if you start with, "Hey, what was your name again?" Most people have the same problem so usually they take no offense.

When I was younger I use to say it all the time but now that I have matured I say excuse what is your name.

Yep. I do it all the time. But, I am honest about it because I truly am bad with names. I just am.

I call all the men dude if I don't know their names and all the women chickie, this way i'm safe.

a few times but i make sure to ask whoever knows them to tell me their name for future reference..b/c when you ask someone you talked to before their name they get mad
