that I don't forgive people because it's really hard to make me mad and I never get mad enough to have a reason to forgive them. I don't care what people do or think and that's why I don't get mad at other people. I have to have 2-3 paragraphs about myself and I can't even explain why I don't forgive people in 2 paragraphs and help would be appreciated.

You have about a paragraph already in just your question. I completely understood what you wrote. Begin with those words. For your second paragraph, think about what you said about getting mad and forgiveness. People who do not get mad so easily are usually more tolerant and patient. Perhaps, there is more goodness in your tolerance than there is in forgiveness.

I think I understand what you are trying to say. It sounds like you have very strong feelings about this topic. Although it would probably be somewhat therapeutic for you to write this paper about how you honestly feel...the fact is: It is just an assignment. If I were you, I would just do the assignment using an easier point of view. For example, you could try writing the paper from a religious perspective because you could find all kinds of things to say about it in the bible. Even if you don't have any religious beliefs, you could just pretend that you do for the sake of the paper and getting it done.

I guess what I am trying to say is...your feelings about the topic is making the paper harder to do. Your teacher will not know whether or not you are telling the truth about how you really feel. You are being graded on how you write the paper....not about how honest you were about your true feelings on the topic of forgiveness.

Okay, let's pretend that someone you love, (a little brother, sister, grandparent, etc.) has been beaten up and robbed at gun point. The bad guy did the robbery to buy drugs. You witnessed the crime.

The bad guy was arrested, and now you have to go to court and identify him to the jury. The person you love is still in the hospital, recovering from the wounds of the assault. You are the only person who can make sure this guy doesn't get away with the crime.

Would you forgive this bad guy? What would you want to say to him? What feelings would be swirling around inside you? Why do you feel this way?

Now get started on your essay!

maybe you aren't ready to forgive them or u want them to ask for forgiveness and show that they want it before you can give it to them
