How many people out there feel like this?

Ive noticed a couple of trends. One is that there are people on here who spend way too much of their time. I suppose they are merely trying to accumulate points. Then there are the ones who are actually advertising for another site or their homemade porn. And, finally, there are those who are just immature and think it is "fun" to post idiotic, stupid answers which have nothing to do with the question posed.

Have you read some of these questions??? Like there was this one...someone had wrote in, I swear to god, no lie, someone asked THIS
Why do alot of people who answer your questions on this sight waste your time with stupid answers...?
I mean, like my time answering a question is less valuable than the time of the person asking the question that wants to read the answers........please.

It's the old "Ask a stupid question, get a stupid answer" rearing it's head. I only ask stupid questions because I wouldn't trust a single answer from anyone on here on something important.
ps - I think you meant "site". I'm not calling you stupid because your question clearly sets you apart from all the flotsam on Yahoo Answers. Keep up the good werk (sic).

Because a lot of people seem to think that being silly or stupid is "funny". Actually it's more of a waste of time, but they don't see it that way, they think they stand out.

once you get to be my age you bypass with the bypass and carry with the crew in hopes that you're making even the slightest large difference in a persons'' existence basically through answering what one would evaluate a "stupid" question. there are a number of of solid people the following and that i delight in it.
