trying to set up my mic on the yahoo 8.1 and no clue how to. Have a dell computer of that makes a difference. What do i go into once i have the mic plugged into the pc? Preferences maybe? I don't know thanks

You might want to try and go to control panel>sounds, speech, and audio devices>sounds and audio devices to see if the mic might be on mute

If you have it plugged in correctly, just click voice or call when you have a friend window open
