Historical and/or Memorable but mostly just to me and not the world in general, with a few exceptions...
I was alive for the turn of the century and Halley's comet.
My entire family was in DC on 9/11. I could see the smoke from the Pentagon from work and my EMT brother helped with clean-up and recovery.
I saw the first King Tut exhibit in FL, but I was very young and don't remember much.
I met and had my picture taken with President Clinton in the White House.
I got an autographed picture of Darth Vadar. He was in full costume in a FL mall parking lot appearance.
Not exactly historical but history: I've seen Hiroshima, Big Ben, the Mona Lisa, The Eiffel Tower, The Blue Mosque in Istanbul, Pompeii, Versailles, The Coliseum in Rome and Acropolis in Athens.

9/11. I was in Chicago for a class and we had to evacuate downtown chi- town until the threat level was down. After that, my 5 day trip turned into a 10 day trip until we could get a flight back to Dallas.
While we were in the hotel, we met people from all over that were forced to land in Chicago, some were in shorts and had no coats because they were forced out of the air. All we could do was stay glued to the TV for direction. God help us.

The funeral of President Gerald R. Ford. The F-15's flew right over my school, and the museum where he was buried is about ten minutes from my house. I even went to sign the condolence book that was sent to Betty Ford and family.
