BCC stands for blind carbon copy. Because its a copy, you have to have an original sender, not just a copy. You can achieve this by sending this email to yourself, then BCC as many people as you like. This is a common practice for spam mailers.

The BCC field is intended so that the receivers of the email don't know who else you have sent the email to. Put one email address in the to: field and the rest in the BCC: field. Hope this helps.

BCC means Blind Carbon Copy. The original person you sent the email to will never know that it was also sent to a 3rd person because the 3rd email address is never listed on the email - it's Blind so to speak. Some people use this feature at work so people won't get offended when they send a copy to a supervisor.

Use your own email address in the TO field. Then you can fill up the BCC field with all of the other email addresses. You have already revealed your email address, since that is automatically in the FROM field, so it's no big deal to send email to yourself.

Good luck and Happy Computing!

The BCC field is for copies. Send the email to yourself and BCC the addresses you don't want visible.

Try putting your own email address in the TO field and everyone else in the BCC field and see if that works.

Because the purpose of BCC is so the person you are emailing primarily, and the CC person will not see that you sent a copy to the person you sent a BCC copy to, it wont show up on their email
