LOL. Almost 4 years ago when our first was born we took 4 rolls of 36 before we even left the hospital. His first year photo album is actually 4 albums with a total of about 600 pictures. Add to that the professional pictures and all the pictures family has taken and its probably up around 1000 in just the first year. Our second child was born 3 months ago and we've switched to digital, but there are probably only about 100 pictures total of her so far--less than we had before leaving the hospital with our son.

OH MY.... lots, and LOTS....
My daughter is pregnant with our first grand child.. we found out it's a girl.
My mother in law passed away about 18 months ago.. my daughter loved her dearly.. so is naming her after Grammy. That brought a tear to my husband's eye, and mine (she was a wonderful woman).
So all the extended family were notified that Grammy's girl (tht's how they refer to my daughter) was having a girl and naming her after Grammy..... she receives calls on a daily basis from relatives.. some that she doesn't know... the 2nd cousin of your dad's uncle,..... oh my... they just want to know how she's feeling
So buy stock in Walgreens.. they are going to be developing a lot of film....
But it's wonderful that they care about her so much.

Well. according to my younger sister who just had her baby about 2 years ago.....1,987,556........ No kidding. You can NEVER take too many pictures of your baby! I wish that my parents had known that, because now, as an adult, baby pictures of me and my siblings are pretty rare. So snap away, camcord and take your baby to the Picture People....they are awesome at taking baby photos and cheap. :)

it kinda depends on how many visitors the baby has and how many of them have cameras, but more then likely loads! Not to mention the proud parents will pull out the camera at every chance!
