Vinegar and water is the best and cheapest. Don't waste your $ on all that stuff out there. The vinegar smell will go away & it's a natural deodorizer.

Are your floors finished or unfinished? I do not recommend using orange glow. If you must use an oil based cleaner for your hardwood floor, I recommend using a LITTLE bit of "Murphy's Oil Soap" in a gallon of water. You should only do this however, when you feel the floors look a little dull and you wanna shine them. On a regular basis, you should only use a cup of vinegar in a bucket of water. It is the safest way to clean your floors without ruining the finish.

Murphy is the BOMB diggety for wood floors, that is what it was made for. It is cheap, and safe. Also does leather (used carefully, really dry rag, weak solution) and walls. Can mix into a furniture wash that leaves everything fresh and clean.
Smells so good...lemony...it reminds me of spring cleaning, a good whiff makes my muscles ache like I have been working for hours. This and Windex and PineSol are my holy trinity of cleaning gear. The rest I round out with natural or basic stuff like bleach, vinegar and baking soda, etc.
I don't like Orange Glo, it is too greasy. Murphy is a cleanser that doesn't strip wood of its natural oils so you don't have to use a bunch of greasy stuff. You can also use Murphy for other floor surfaces like vinyl, pergo, linoleum, and tile...even though all these can hold up to stronger cleaners. To be fair, sometimes it isn't as shiny on these surfaces. But wood floors are beautiful cleaned with Murphy.

I am in the cleaning business and here is our secret!
We use the swiffer, but instead of using t hose expensive refills,
We buy this cleaning cloth off the internet. You have to buy in packages of 5 but they are only like $3 bucks a piece. I have ordered them and use them on everything, even cleaning windows and clean mirrors. They are made out of tiny fibers. They are guaranteed not to scratch and all you do is rinse the cloth under water, wring it out and wipe ANY surface with no streaks or scratch. Use em over and over. I have not thrown one away yet!
I am sold on this ...I encourage you to try it out….hope this helps…Steve
