Reason i am asking is because of all the anna Nicole news coverage. i think there are more important things to cover then her. I was also very surprised that CNN and MS NBC contributed so much of their coverage to her and i am not including FOX. For me the FOX news is all about entertainment and ratings and that is why i am not including them.

I get your drift, but it is not the entertainment news, it is the easy money that can be hauled in by unscrupulous Corporation activities that are now completely out of control in America. The new media is a few major Corporations who design fake news that fills space between info commercials.
The reality, or should I say, the unreality shows that are so popular now are a perfect example of fake entertainment. There is no reality in reality shows other than hauling in big bucks at little cost.
You should really be watching the powerful money interests that like to suck up government money, or your money, and make even more money for doing nothing but diverting Americans to a fake reality.
What we need in America now is more fenced communities, bigger prisons, less regulations and less equality of income. America is becoming the Nation of the Corporation, by the Corporation and for the Corporation.

With the World News the way it is -
it is not surprising that the Anna Nicole story generates High Ratings which is what counts for the Media. In spite of all the coverage, I still do not understand the delay in the DNA procedures to establish who is the Father of her baby girl.
Is it possible that the Media was
instrumental in delaying the DNA procedures in order to stretch out the Story?

they are just giving the people what they want. Its all about ratings which equal money for them. If nobody watched it, they wouldn't put that crap on TV. But it is kinda fascinating to hear all the latest twists and turns.
Your right there is a lot more important news in the world but most people don't give a sh it when its not affecting them, they would rather hear about Bald Britney and Embalmed Anna. If you want to watch some serious news, its out there, you just got to change the channel.

You won't include Fox because it's ...."all about entertainment and ratings".. and you wonder about entertainment with MSNBC & CNN? Isn't that the same thing? The news is all about entertainment and ratings, has been for years.
