That's a vid. of the baby "graduating" from swim lessons. that is a PROFESSIONAL swim teacher in the water with him! I think it is a wonderful idea for small children to learn to swim or not panic in water in case they fall into a pool and/or some other type of water.

OMG! That is so way cool! I wish I could get my kids to do that! I almost got my son floating at about 5 months with just my hand under his head but I didn’t keep taking him to the pool. I never would have thought to teach him to do all that. Way to go for them!

I think teaching a child how to swim at a young age is a great idea.Then if they fall into a pool unattended they might have a chance.But I also think on the video that woman went way to far by flipping him.

i do not see anything wronge with having a 10 month old in the pool and even teaching it to float but that lady went a little to far in my opinion. flipping the child and barely letting it catch it's breath before dunking it under again. yes, i found it a little disturbing.

I think that is a great idea....how many children die each year because they fall into a pool and drown....They are teaching this baby not to be afraid of the water and how to control himself in the water....so God forbid if he ever fell in unattended he may have a chance!

I think that teaching a child to swim asap is very important but what they were doing there just seemed cruel! The poor thing looked like it was about to drown and was swalowing sooo much water. The poor baby...

It's not crazy. Babies are good swimmers. They teach baby swimming classes at the local civic center.

They r crazy. kids can drowned like that. They have to think of there kids and not the fun 4 there kids.

didn't the baby get hurt when the water went in hids nose!!!
my nose still hurts when water gets in and i don't know how to swim properly and i am 14!!!
