console game open source code?

I was wondering if there is any way to look at the code of a complete game from a console game e.g. PS2 or xbox?

Not to my knowledge. There are a couple of close seconds that might satisfy your curiosity though. Tried searching through Microsoft's Developer's Community sights for examples for the X-Box? You might also try a web search for "PS2 +development kit" or some similar terms. I hope this gives you some fresh ideas.
