I am doing an essay for The Little Prince upon three ways that he change in traits through the Book.

I basically have two idea done, but with 1 idea of changing his character from Ignorance to Knowledge, I need some ideas.....please

1. "the sheep in the box". This is actually very profound. He isn't satisfied with the sheep the pilot draws until the pilot draws the sheep in the box. That's the perfect sheep because it looks exactly how he wants it to look. Kind of like a "Schroedinger's cat" sort of paradox in that whatever your perception is, can be reality. You don't actually know what the sheep looks like, but the Prince knew that it was OK.

2. "has a sheep eaten a rose?" Also, very profound. The pilot hopes the sheep didn't eat the rose, he just has to take it on faith that it didn't happen. Again, there is a relation between ignorance and knowledge, and the bridge is faith.

It's been a while since I read it, but you can squeeze a page or two out of that.
