First off, he misses the whole last season with an injury, last season. Fine. He comes back in the post-season to play for first-round vs. the Cavaliers. They go down two games, and what do you know? Mr. Arenas is injured once AGAIN. He lets his Wizards get stomped by the Cavaliers for the 3rd time in a row. What happens here now, is that Mr. Arenas promises that he will likely return in the beginning of the 2008-2009 regular season. The offseason rolls by, and Mr. Arenas gets a HUGE six year, $111 million contract. Gilbert Arenas is now considered to be a very charitable person. Why? Because he signed a six-year deal worth about $111 million, instead of the $127 million deal he was initially offered! That means that Agent Zero will only be able to afford 69 Lamborghini Reventons, instead of 79 Lamborghini Reventons. That's ten less Lamborghini Reventons! ...Of course, since only twenty of them were made, Agent Zero will still be able to buy all of them regardless of the contract. So, why did he take the lesser contract? According to him, its because he wanted to give his franchise more flexibility. In other words, thanks to him, the Wizards will be able to sign... umm... Pat Burke for a six year deal. Fantastic! Honestly though, anyone who calls Arenas a charitable person should have their head pressed on a heated frying pan until it melts. This is the same guy who had a birthday party last year featuring statues of his naked self pissing beer. Being a reasonable person, I think that anyone who purchases any beverage pissing fountain is, in fact, a selfish guy. So, unless the man suddenly donates half of his ridiculous salary or even just half of his abundant vacation time to charity or volunteer work, you, along with everyone else, should consider him to be a money-grubbing idiot. Oh, and Gilbert's over-rated and always injured, so the Wizards should have traded him off for, say, someone who isn't over-rated, always injured, and doesn't think he's worth over a hundred million per every six year period. Does anyone else remember how the Wizards were good enough to beat the Celtics in beginning of the season, back when Arenas wasn't playing? I do, and that's how I know that offering the man a $127 million or $111 million contract is a terribly stupid idea. MOVING ON... the regular season rolls around, and guess what? After having minor arthroscopic surgery to clean out debris in his surgically repaired left knee, Gilbert Arenas posts a 2,210-word blog entry in which he said he will likely return from the procedure between mid-December and early January. Furthermore... January pops around, and what happens now? Arenas is saying that his knee is "Not even close to game shape", and that this season is unlikely. And keep in mind that the Wizards are going through a VERY crucial time. At a record of 7-29, they are at the bottom of the EAST, and the second worst in the NBA. But of course... does this matter to Arenas? Likely not. I'm sorry, I'm not even a Wizards fan, but Gilbert Arenas is a selfish, sorry loser, and he does not deserve teammates like Caron Butler and Antwan Jamison. These guys are obviously fighting their butts of to keep the Wizards competitive. In my opinion, they should trade this overrated, overpaid jerk immediately. Once they do that, they will be able to move on and start rebuilding.

People call Arenas Hibachi because that's what he shouts after shooting to let the other team know he's on fire.
From saying it so much it became another one of his many nicknames
