The Simpsons is on its 18th season which puts it at 1989 and they just celebrated there 300 episode like a year or two ago. They are currently at 378.
The movie is coming out this summer, in case you didn't already know that.

The first real episode of the Simpsons (greatest show ever!) came on television in December of 1989, it was titled,"Simpsons roasting on an open fire". But before that December they were appering on this one show that I can't remember the name of right now since about 1985.

as the show w/o tracy ulman--1989. i've watched it since the 1990's, before i knew English haha.

yeah the late 80's but they debuted on the tracy ulman show before getting their own show
