Yes, in real life, but I was married to him so there was no getting away at the time! He would just "show up" everywhere all the time, and I think he had "watchers" sometimes, too, because he would question me about everything I'd done when I was somewhere that I know he wasn't at. It was a little unnerving and scary.

Just at the edge of one. A strange man who was an old classmate of mine came back to town. In high school he had stalked a good friend of mine. As adults he and I were friends, no actual relationship, and I had hoped that he had grown out of his stalking behavior. Unfortunately he had not and he made weird threats and scoped my house while my boyfriend was there. I stopped talking to him or returning his calls and he faded away.
A creepy person. I'm glad he's out of my life.

i remember i use to work at night and go over and take a break where he worked and buy coffee . well he liked me and he use to be with a motorcycle gang and once he had a wreck and his face had to be rebuilt. well he found the no. where i worked and he would call it all night long. i would stay out of the office because it would ring non stop and he gave me candy for valentine's day. i think he kept it up for a yr. i moved and it was a relief

yes in both real life and on the internet. different guys. In "real life" i guess i mislead a guy into thinking i liked him (i danced with him once) and he started calling me and following me around, talking about me at his bible study, and when i got really sick, he was saying like the devil was keeping us apart...he was a creep. on the internet, there was this guy who would not stop emailing me and iming me, i had to block him. my advice for people being stalked is to tell someone to have them either restrained or blocked so they can't reach you.

Yes, i had one. An ex-boyfriend who was supposedly divorced, and when i found out he was not, I broke it off and then he wouldn't quit calling or following me around. we worked together and HR had to intervene and make him sign something stating that if he contacted me again he would be fired.

Yes, I have had a stalker on the Internet before. Changing my screen name without letting them know is what rid me of them.

Yes to both, it's frightening and powerless. I won't go into detail though, not really the place for it, too many bad memories that still need healing.

yes. though not like you. there was this boy who wouldn't leave me alone in 7th grade. he bought me stuff and i felt bad because... you know. i made him think i was emotionally disturbed (because i found out he was plotting to get me roses on valentines day and i told him roses were evil depressing creatures that seduced the mind and then committed suicide). i think he hated me for a while after that because i was avoiding him. no. actually i was leading my own life. hahaha. good times...
