In the movie Sound of Music they pronounce the boy's name like Freed-rick. Although I have also heard it pronounced Freed-rich.
I'd say the most common way is probably Freed-Rick.

In proper German, the word "Friedrich" would be pornounced close to "
"Freed - rick" (the letter "r" is slightly "trilled", and the letters "ck" would have a slight guttural sound , not a hard "k".)
