I'm a chronic-nightmare ... uh, haver. Tell me your most frightening nightmare. I'll pick the scariest for the best. ;)

I had 2 of these in Germany leaving for the states from the USA military housing units when I was separating from a loveless marriage....this one occured to me JUST as someone is just falling asleep kind of nightmares, you wake up (as a reasonable person you are sure you are awake!) and something hideous, evil, very angry, hateful dark shadow apparition beating you with its fists and another time it was literally PULLING me out of the bed by my feet where you think your head will crack if you dont hang onto something, it lifted me off and out to our unusually turned loooong hallway the kind you see how they make them in horror movies. I was grabbing the side of the bedroom door, walls to keep it from 'taking' me away, "IT" allowed me to view outside our dining area where I saw our well lit streets as clear as 'day' when this thing grabbed me hard and attempted to throw me down into all this broken glass that was all over our wooden floor in our livingroom we had in our quarters, I 'felt' glass against my eyes, mouth when I SCREAMED and just when I felt I did, sure enough I was wide awake back in my bed/room, my heart pounding and at my feet. Someone said german housing was haunted but no one experienced anything like this that I did. My children and I were flown back here within 2 weeks of that.

Q: Can maybe 'ghosts' out there 'hate' someone that bad??

From the age of 18 to22 I had a recurring dream that a guy was lurking in the bushes near my apartment building. He would wait till I was walking by and jump out and knock me down. He had a big shiny knife and was going to stab me to death. I would always wake up when I was on the ground and I could see the knife above my chest and it was shining from the street light. I was very scared when I woke up and couldn't fall back to sleep.

after my dad passed I had a dream we were at the funeral and his body started moving a thrashing like he was trying to get out of the casket. Then my mom and the preacher ran to the casket to hold him in it

Why would you tell him this? He hasn't executed something to be forced with your freaky desires. desires are only desires and advise no longer something till they are related to some thing that's quite occurring on your existence.
