he is the one that they made the queer as a three dollar bill for, the first and only three dollar bill with his face on it.ha ha har de har..no really. they took boys so as to make them solders,it was their way, Gay was OK back then with people in the military especially, they didn't have time for women, they were busy fighting,so they had to have sex somewhere so they just TOOK boys .from the towns they took over.I cant remember the name of that army, but their was one about that time in history that lasted for a hundred years and that's ALL they did was be homos.taking boys raising them to be solders .and they all slept together, normal for the times back then. Their all fine with me as long as they don't touch, NO touching.
and that Lincoln fellow was a bi sexual, he slept all the time with men, before he got to the white house and then as he lived there he slept with men in the same bed.kinda like that Jackson man, with his boys, we just slept together ,sure buddy, they just layed their and slept .ha ha ha.like I believe that.

You need to find another favorite.
Actually, as generals go, he really was superlative. But for the issue you raised, if you look a little deeper in ancient history, there were lots of people who did that. The thing was that marriage was for making children and uniting families, or in the case of kings, welding alliances. What one did for frivolous sexual experience was a bit less limited, especially if you were a king. Today, we would probably call him bi, because there were some boys (word used purposely) and some women in his life. The stories of many famous men of those ancient times include more than a few instances of an almost pedophilic fondness. Mohammad liked girls, but in the list of his fourteen brides (even though his book only permits a good Moslem four) more than one was what we would call today a child bride.

During ancient times women were kind of a separate tribe, really not available for casual sex (virtuous ?) and young males were more available, So, pretty much all the males liked boys for sex, but also dutifully produced children in marriage. He may have been screwed by Aristotle, who knows, that was his teacher.
Try Alicibiades or Cyrus of Persia. Caesar's biographies also make great reading. The leader of the future will solve the traffic problem...check to see if this suits you below..

He was bi-sexual but you cannot judge him by today's morals. It was not only acceptable but consider the correct thing for Greek (and Macedonian) men to have male lovers along with their several wives at that time. Alexander married a number of women but his main focus was conquering new lands which meant he spent a lot of time with his army. Unlike today, there were no leaves from army life so, if he had any sexual life at all, it was normally with a male.

Well, yeah, from what I've heard. And I totally agree cause he was a really good conquerer lol. But back then it wasn't really seen as homosexuality. Back then, it was like, whatever. They didn't really value their wives because they had many, and I'm sure he must've been involved with men too. But I'm not completely sure. I couldv'e sworn I heard it somewhere though!

Yes he was.
Believe me, there are plenty of other people in your life that you have respect for and you don't know they are gay. Try to be a bit more tolerant.

Yes, he was gay, and he's not a general.
In fact, some say that he died because of AIDS.

He was likely bisexual, as were many of his contemporaries in the Hellenistic culture.
