I do not agree with with the answers here,An average full load amp rating for a saws-all is 10 amps.120 volts x 10 amp=1200 watts.the saw will run ,but under powering it will break down the armature and field windings and cause a failure.Either get a bigger generator or a small cheap saws-all .but check the data plate on the saw and it will tell you the amp rating.I would not run it with the equipment you describe.good luck.

Look at the amp draw of the saw.
Amps x volts = watts.
You can run a little over 8 amps at 115 volts on a 1000 watt generator.

Use caution. Use common sence. Try it. use a heavy duty extension cord or plug in the saw directly. Gas generators put out less power as their RPMs drop. If either the saw or generator bog down, QUIT. You can damage the saw. Sharp blades help. Use lubrication. Be careful to cut straight. Anything that generates heat uses power. A 1 KW generator is small, very handy but small.

It's the amps that you ar concerned with, but just about any generator will run a saws all.

1000w or 1 Kw will not run much. Most fan heaters are 2000 watts. Are you sure you have the rating correct ?

I agree with Obsean
Plus it depends on what your cutting and if the saw bogs down.If you have a sharp blade and cutting something easy you will have no problem. If your cutting 1/4 thick stainless you will have a problem
