It's unlikley but it depends on how far advanced your pregnancy is and what your cervix is up to.

During the pregnancy it stays shut tight, and it's not until you are about to give birth that it beings to dialate and soften, in preparation for delivery.

It is unlikely that the sex itself would cause your membranes to rupture unless they were going to anyway. But semen contains prostaglandins that can assist in ripening the cervix and kicking off labour - this is why doctors sometimes recommend that couples that are overdue make love (if they can!) - it's not the thrusting etc that will cause the baby to come!

You probably shoudln't be having "hard sex" (I assume you mean rough sex) while you're pregnant at any time, just as a precautionary measure anyway. If you do have rough sex and the cervix is injured then it may cause you to go into labour - try and keep the passion down to a dull roar until the birth is over and you have healed, ok?

No, water breaks when baby's ready. If you are having leaking though you need to call your doctor. the longer you go the more of a chance there can be for infection. That is if your water broke. Hope this helps.

Sex in general broke my water at 40 weeks. You should lay off having really rough sex though it could be uncomfortable.
