some people feel like crying doesnt do it for them. if your suicidal and dont cry your more likley to get angry, and act out in more of an anger fueled depression than a sadness one. or you might be more numb and face the world with a depression thats fueld by indifference and uncaringness. people have different ways of letting out thier emotions

I once met a man in his early twenties who expressed the same thing as you. He expressed how deeply he longed for the experience but nothing could bring him to tears. He had tried everything. I think the thing that struck me about him was that he seemed to have more "accidents" than anyone else I had ever met in my life. He'd slip and fall, cut himself on a knife or just trip over the air - and regularly. I have no right to judge him or you or to say that it was related somehow to him not being able to cry or even for you. It was just a bit peculiar. I can theorize about why that was for him after meeting him, but since we have never met it would be unfair to assume your experience is due to the same factors. I don't know but I think that sometimes deep inside we are really afraid of the depth of our own feelings - as if we could be completely annihilated by them. For me, crying can be a release of emotion, an expression of frustration or complete sorrow or even an expression of a deep tenderness - and it has always seemed to come easily, sometimes far too easily. I really don't know what to suggest to you but I think that if it is the desire of your heart to really open that you can find a way. In all seriousness, maybe you could go to a hypnotherapist (if you felt open to it) - someone that you really felt that you could trust and maybe there is something that you are blocking, some fear or a memory or something that they might be able to help you with in a very non threatening kind of a way. That might be good. Although sometimes therapists like to slap a label on you and make it seem like you have some sort of mental illness. I'd stay away from that if I were you. Anyway, I hope you are able to move through this although it might take time, I think you can. I wish you the best.

You must be really stresed out at the moment to want to cry and talking about being suicidal means your in true need of a good cry.
Crying can relieve alot of stress but like you said you can't,
I think you need to speak to somone like a doctor to help you.
Please talk to someone it might help.
Good luck...

It's natural for the human body to need to express grief in some sort of way. You can't stop it.
