Many government employees do not have to pay the Social Security Tax. For example, State and some County governments in California belong to CalPERS -- California Public Employee Retirement System. Federal Employees have their own system. So, you could look into a government job. You still have to make contributions to a retirement system, but currently the returns are generally much better than that of Social Security.

Another way is to work strictly for cash, which some self-employed people are able to do. This is not considered legal by the Federal Government.

Another way is to become an investor--a capitalist--rather than being a laborer--an employee. Investors such as those who buy and sell stocks pay capital gain taxes on their profits, but they do not pay Social Security taxes.

No way. It's an obligation to our older generation to help them through their retirement years. If there was no social security, we probably would be paying even more than we are paying now in SS Taxes to help the elderly who are broke and homeless.
