Extra Marital Sex, How much of the population enjoys this? What can it add to sexual pleasure?

We are a swinging couple who are interested in others opinions. This lifestyle is not for everyone. For us it is a treat on rare occasions.

I think it can enhance a relationship, only, and I do mean only, if both peoples opinion on sex is open. But for most, especially women, it's unacceptable.
I personally don't see anything wrong with it, and if I met the right woman, I'd give it a try to see if it's for me.
