generalization doesn't require an actual education. You can take a few clips off the Internet and label them as "fact". It's another version of laziness.

It is human nature. It would be impossible for us to analyze every little thing individually without our brains burning out. We group, generalize to make information quicker to process. It is unproductive to do otherwise.
