Ok I want to get my nose pierced but my parents won't let me. What are some ways I can convince them to let me do it. Plus once I want to close it up will it leave a scar or will there be a hole in my nose or something. I am 14 going on 15 so I think I am old enough to get my nose pierced so please don't tell me I am to young. Also no mean stuff please. =D

Your parents just don't want you to make a decision about your appearance that could adversely affect your life. You can keep asking, but they probably won't change their mind. Maybe you could try showing them the examples of other women with their noses pierced. Try to act mature - screaming and crying won't help :)
As for the scar - it really depends upon your body. Some people develop keloids after they get pierced. With others, there is little proof of ever having been pierced.
I would suggest waiting until you are 18. There really is no rush on piercing/tattooing. Although it is acceptable (mostly) in our current culture - please make sure it is what you really, really want. Your tastes will change drastically over the next few years (totally natural).
I have my nose pierced - waited a long time to do it, until I was totally sure. I really like it - it is part of who i am. :)

I know alot of kids that have gotten their nose pierced at school. From the looks of it they usually put a tiny peice of band-aid on it so they teachers dont get pissed, we aren't allowed to wear peircings except for in our ears. As far as asking ur parents wait until they are in a good mood. It also depends on they person, if u are the kind of person that has alot of scars, u are bound to have a scar, but hopefully u get a small hole in ur nose.

yes it will leave a small whole in your nose that does not look very attractive as you get older my mum didn't let me get mine done either so i didn't have mine done till i was 20 I'm glad i waited the few extra years .even if you did talk them into it there is no guarantee that your nose wont reject the piercing i only had mine for a year before my nose decided it didn't want it any more after that it was constantly infected and the skin was trying to grow over it.

well theres nothing to really convince your parents.
if they dont let you get it done dont be stupid and do it yourself.
im speaking from experience, the scar thats left after is preety small unless it gets infected. and it looks weird to ghave a kinda big scab where your nose stud used to be, so yea, you might be too young in there eyes. try to make a bargin with them like if you get an a in english you can get your nose pierced, or for a bday present.

Ask yourself 'What do I need to say to the world with a nose ring?'
When you get older and enter the work force, you'll find that many good paying companies don't want to hire people with piercings or tattoos. You can still find work but it may not be what you want to do forever.

i dont know how to convince ur parents but my aunt got her nose pierced she let the hole close and i dont think it left a scar.... people dont really get THAT close to ur nose......

well im 14 aswell, i got my nose done. and yes is leaves a scar. if your parents willnt let you just wait untill your abit older. â¥ox
